Breaking Free

The storm outside was gradually growing as a girl of 10 was crouched under her covers as she secretly studied for school.You may think it weird that she was studying secretly but Brooklyn was no normal child. Her parents had died when she was just a baby and she had no other close relatives apart from her godfather Charles Diaz and his wife Gina. Charles was just like a carefree dad to any other person but Brooklyn knew exactly what he was capable of. Ever since he found out that his god daughter and her best friend Rosa Santiago were trying to break free from the bond of magic that was holding them prisoners from the magic that they could perform at a special school called 3 willows. An amazing school that teaches magic, dance and how to act correctly around non magical people (NMP) he has locked her in her room and stopped her use of the magic sphere to contact people. He has done everything ,to try to stop her from breaking free, from starving her to physical hurting her.
