Leprosy

 Jack Hurt

Raul Vikram is a 21 year old Indian, born and raised in the urban poor population of Dadra, in Negar Haveli, a primarily farming region in India. His parents are both farmers with no education, and your job is to sell the crops your parents harvest. Where you live has the highest rate of leprosy in the globe; however, your family has been lucky and only your great grandmother had it. The population speaks Hindi and so do you. Today is a market day, but you have heard on a radio broadcast a report of a recent outbreak of Leprosy in your area. Do you go to set up shop and sell goods to provide income to your family, or do you not risk going to the market in fear of catching leprosy and becoming a social outcast?
