Haywire
Classic Customs
<b><i>Prologue</i></b>
You do not know anything at first. Then, you wake up as the machine in the factory connects everything. It breathes life into you. But, it does one wire wrong. You are then assembled, and turned online.
Suddenly, an alert goes off. But it's too late. Once you've been turned on, you use your laser eyes to burn the people at the factory. You kill about four, but then a guard comes in and pumps you with lead. You collapse on the ground. There is a bullet in both of your pupils, one in your brain, heart, throat, at least four in your back and each of your arms and legs, and two in each of your hands and feet, along with one in each of your lungs. You automatically turn off, only with a little bit of knowledge. Your name is Robroto. You are smarter than any human or robot made before you, but you have the body of a four year old. You even act like one. You also remember the password for something. HEYwire. You are to use this as your first test, to see if you are as smart as you were programmed to be. Well, you would have used the information if it hadn't been for a faulty wire. But the bullets fix your programming a bit. You soon forget the factory in your deep slumber. But, what would have killed any other robot of your kind has only wounded you. You are the last of your kind, but you are special.
You wake up.
Immediately, you open your eyes... well, what's left of them. You can barely see, but you are still able to see. This is good. You were programmed to always look at the positives. Always look at the positives. Sure, you were pumped with lead, and have no idea how to get out of the factory, but you must focus on the positives. You look around. You can tell that the factory has been abandoned, because the lights are off and there is dust is everywhere. Since you were made to be somewhat human, you breath in some dust, and start to cough, which hurts your throat even more. The bullet that was shot at your throat was lodged in your voice box, so you can't speak right now. You have a feeling it'll take you a while to ever speak, once your bullets are removed, and you are patched up.
If you are ever patched up.
If your bullets are removed.
If you make it out of the factory alive.
No, you must focus on the positives. If you think something bad is going to happen, it probably will.
You stand up with a bit of difficulty, and look around the best you can. You see a broken window, and look to see if there's any glass. The glass that remains is very tiny shards, but in the middle of it is a newspaper, still in its plastic bag. It is old and yellowed, but the bag has somehow protected it from any rain, rats, or moths that may have ruined it. The bag is green. You look around some more and see a hand mirror. You can pick up either item. You also notice a keypad hooked up to the door. The metal door is locked, but the keypad looks like it still functions. What will you do first?
