Wise or Not

A story about a boy

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, (awesome music in background) A child was very bad because instead of going to school he went to the beach with his friends. his mom had to do something about it, but she couldn't chose what way to punish him, she could punished him for life, or make him stay in his room for the rest of the day.
If she made him stay in his room all day he would burst into tears. Making her need to make another decision. She could make him stop, and get over it, or she could leave him at that place.
What would be a wise decision?
What would be a foolish decision?
