Liana gazed down from the windows of the plane as it arrives in kenya airport ready for landing, we have arrived kenya airport this kenya airlines k3341 thanks for flying with us do have a blissful day,said the air hostess as Liana alights from the plane with her dad Zulu who had in his hands a hand luggage and his ticket with baggage allowance so he can clear their luggages. Here hold this, you seem hungry we will be soon be out of here so you can get something to eat,Zulu said as stares at her, no am fine i just want to go home, Liana said as she hasten up her footsteps<i> ,unaweza i kuona posho yako mizigo,</i>mm the security man asked in the swahili, sorry am not from around here i don't understand Liana answered as Zulu quickly brought out the baggage allowance and showed it to the security man and he gave them a sign to go on with their luggages <i>shukrani</i> her father said as they left the airport heading towards the taxi, where to the taxi man said in swahili <i>wapi? </i>M<i>o</i>mbasa Zulu replied as he enters the cab with Liana who still staring at the people and everything around her, the car drives out from the airport fastly and the journey began Liana takes a peep from the windows of the car just to see every one dark in skin tone dirts every where old buildings people in ragged clothes speaking this strange language she just can never understand,Liana felt like she was in a strange place but she just has to be strong because this her home not until one hour Liana fell asleep.
we have arrived said the taxi man in swahili <i>tumefika,hapa kwenda </i>said zulu as he hands the driver twenty kenya shillings and brings out their luggages, Liana opens her eyes and alights quietly from the car as she was staring at the muddy ground and the little house beside a well with dusty cover. finally she carries her little hand luggage to the house, as she enters the house she chokes with dust which filled the house, take those to the little room beside the kitchen thats where you would be sleeping, said Zulu as he carries his luggage to the first room closer to the tiny sitting room. Liana enters into her room everything was so dusty she turns on the old ragged lamp beside her bed,then she laid on the bed staring at the ceiling, Blaine!! she calls out like he were there and then gently closes her eyes and fell asleep. After some minutes Liana starts to hear conversations from her sleep which causes her to wake up, and goes to the sitting room to find a woman hugging her dad,<i>Zulu jinsi wewe</i>, the woman said, <i>ni faini </i>zulu replied as he turns back to see Liana,this is my child Liana,she looks just like her mother, the woman said. Liana gives a smirk and leaves the house and heads towards the well, the woman is zennu she was the best friend of Zulu not until he left for australia and they lost contact.
Step away!! a voice came from behind Liana just as she was about to go closer to the well, its really deep you could fall ,she quickly turned around just to find a boy who is 6ft tall slim light in skin tone with full african hair, brown big eyes, full brows and thick red lips the boy stared at her for 3 seconds like he has never seen a mixed race skin, then he touched her blond curley full hair, you from here not, he spoke in a very wrong english, i am from here but i never lived here this is my home, Liana replied, my mama Zennu with your baba in house, Kuzua!! <i>wakati wa kwenda nyumbania </i>woman shouted from afar, thats my mama, she want go home me Kuzua said as he runs to his mother leaving Liana who was still trying to comprehend what he just said and finally she gets it and waves goodbye to him and slowly walks back to her room and picked up her moms picture and placed it on the bed as she closes her eyes and falls asleep. Kuzua is the son of Zennu,he lost his father in a terrible motor accident and encountered various trauma due to the death of his father he barely talks to people although a lot of girls find him attractive but he prefers to be a loner, Kuzua is very poor in english because his school never had good speaking teachers due to this he reads a lot of books to help his poor english skills.
Liana wakes up in the morning goes to brush her teeth, dad!!! the water isnt running and i dont know why, said Liana, sweetie just go towards the well you will find someone who is willing to help you with that,Zulu replied from the kitchen, Liana lazily walked outside towards the well, closer closer and closer to find Kuzua drawing water from the well all covered in sweat indicates he has been doing this for hours, can i help Liana asked,not with a moth dirty Kuzua answered and passed her a bowl of water ,here use this for you moth, my mouth you mean Liana replied,yes as he point to her mouth, thank you said Liana as she brushes her teeth with it, quick i have lot of things to show to you as he drags her to his room and he quickly puts on a white vest and leads her to the mountains in mombasa takes her to the ponds Liana was happy about the new life she has found in her home, the new friend she has found as she turns to Kuzua and hold his hands and all the new kids who loved her no matter what, Liana found a true friend in Kuzua and after their schooling love and they got married and started their family in mombasa and they lived their lives in the fear of God,
