Hey guys.... Welcome to the real world, or at least, the one created by Miss Barker. Throughout this game, you're going to have to make choices and use math just like you would in the real world! Please get a lined piece of paper to keep track of all your work... YOU WILL BE TURNING THESE IN AT THE END OF THE HOUR FOR CREDIT! So, make sure your name is on them. Thanks!
To begin, you will all be starting with $1,000 in your savings account. If you have to pay money, you may go into debt (meaning your total is negative) and if you make money, your savings account may grow quite a bit! The choices you make, and how well you solve each problem will determine how much money you make/spend. Your goal is to be the richest kid in class by the end of the hour! Make sure to keep a running total </i>of ALL of your transactions... how much you add and how much you subtract throughout the hour so I can see how much money you all make!!
