Facebook was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg as a tool to connect to others in a community-like fashion. Since that time, Facebook has been responsible for changing a lot of the ways that we as a society think and feel about our own privacy and culture. However, our privacy has always been somewhat contested in the past present and probably will be in the future.
