my time in titanic
Anonymous
In class Mr. Duke talked about our new project on the Titanic. When I looked at the facts I saw that there were 2228 passengers on the titanic. When I went to bed I had nightmares of the 2228 passengers struggling to get into the safety boats. when I woke up I was on a deck of a boat. ''Maldithe come here!" an unfamiliar voice said. When I thought again Maldithe was a titanic 3rd class passenger and died. I went to where the voice was. The lady was brown hair, blue eyes I remembered that her mother's name was Catherine. Out on the deck I could hear people shouting and having fun. I asked if I could go out on the deck and she said ''yes.'' When I got on the deck people were drinking champagne. Celebrating to be on the unsinkable boat Titanic. Someone had told me that it was April 14 1912. That night I had nightmares of the of the boat sinking and the passengers again. When I woke up there was a loud boom. The Titanic had hit the iceberg and I was screaming I was so scared. It was 11 40 pm. everyone had thought we just went over a wave but In the bottom there was a hole. It was absorbing water in the bottom. the boats were put up and women and children in lifeboats first. When I got there I was in 5he back of the line. Offices with guns were holding the people back as they were trying to get out. Then they said the last boat was leaving. Then part of the boat fell into the water and I had no way out. I was scared to death that I was going to die. The people were screaming and yelping and holding on for their lives. So they would not fall in the below frigid water. People were jumping off the boat and going in the freezing cold water. The boat was almost all I the water and I was still holding on for my life. Then the water took me under I so cold I freezing to death. I did not know if this was real life or dreaming but it felt so real. As I went down in the deep deep water. Then I saw the bats coming but it was too late for a lot of people like me. '' Aubrey are you ok ?''a voice said. During the test I had fainted for no reason but for the rest of my life. I respected what happened to those people. THE END
