You wake up, sweat beading from your forehead. Another nightmare. This has been the 3rd week in a row filled with nightmares.
You sit up and wipe away the sweat.

Roll over, try to go back to sleep.
Turn on calming sounds.
Journal the dream. Maybe jotting it down will get it out of your head.
Watch TV. Mom said she recorded something...
Check the time.
