The Time Keeper

<b>One day, when his children were old enough to run hillsides on their own, Dor had a visit from King Nim, his childhood friend.</b> They talked about the old days, and Dor showed Nim two of his celestial inventions- one that charted the stages of the moon and the other that he called a sun stick which broke the day into parts. When their conversation finished, Nim took the sun stick and asked Dor to be partners. Without a moment's hesitation, Dor agreed and told his sick wife, Alli, to start packing immediately. <i>Could everything really be that simple?</i>
