A friend at last

There once lived a girl called Leila.She was a shy girl and found it hard to make friends.Even at school people thought she was weird and uncool so they left her on her own. She had no one to eat lunch with or share funny stories with and it was torture to see all the other girls walk around with their friends laughing and being what Leila liked to call normal.
One day while she was walking home from school she happened to meet a boy. His name was Issac. "Hey" said Issac "I am new here and was wondering if we could maybe be friends. "Why would you want to be friends with me?" said Leila holding back a tear. "Well said Issac "You seem friendly and if I was to be honest I would say you are quite pretty" "Well" said Leila "Half my school don't think that way. They all think I am a loser, you would be far better off being friends with Marilyn Kingston, she quite popular you know, and I should know. "You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, in fact why don't we hang out at lunch tomorrow? I will show you who the real diamond is?" "OK but don't say I didn't warn you and if you want to move away from me when they start laughing at the lunch table I totally respect your decision" "I won't you see Leila" and with that he carried on home.
The next day at lunch Issac sat with Leila at lunch time just like he said he would. The popular girls aka Marilyn Kingston laughed at the sight. Walked up to their table and said "Whats a nice guy like you doing sitting at the loser table?" "If this is the loser table then I guess that makes me a loser to! Because I am hanging with my best friend Leila" and with that Marilyn put her nose up in the air with disgust that she had been turned away and walked back to her many snobby friends. "Thank you for doing that for me Issac, but you do realize you have just cast yourself as a loser right?" As long as I get to sit beside you everyday for lunch then that name to me is just fine. For the first time in forever at school Leila smiled.
2 months went by and best friends Leila and Issac fell in love. The two of them were all of a sudden very shy and couldn't tell. Until one day Issac plucked up the courage and asked his best friend out. Leila said yes and much to the popular girls dismay Leila and Issac where no longer best friends but best friends and lovers.
