The Carbon Cycle

By Ethan.C and Riley.T

The carbon cycle is the Biogeochemical cycle in which carbon is cycled throughout the biosphere through the means of the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. The cycling of carbon allows the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration to take place. Due to this carbon is one of the most- if not the most important element for life, therefore the carbon cycle plays a crucial role in the health of any ecosystem and in life in general. Our starting place will be in the atmosphere as CO2
