Iris's parents were killed days after she was born and she was adopted and has no idea she's a witch.

Charlie was also adopted- except she ran away. Harboring knowledge she was a witch, she joined a gang. Knowing only violence from such a long age, she grew up wanting only one thing. To finish what she started when she murdered the rest of her family.

Leo also exists in this universe, his role being Iris's guardian angel.
