Ryerson was shocked when a banner belonging to the Amadiyyah Muslim Student's Association was torn down.
The organization was promoting an event that aimed to answer questions regarding islam. The event is scheduled for December 3rd where students will be able to explore different areas of the religion.
According to the Eyeopener, this is the second time the group faced a direct act of hatred. The previous year, a different banner was also torn down under similar circumstances.
