Water Cycle or Hydrologic Cycle Story Example Using Inklewriter
Ms. Pam Harrington
Water cycle standard: b. Plan and carry out an investigation to illustrate the role of the sun’s energy in atmospheric conditions that lead to the cycling of water.
Once upon a time one glorious sunny day, I looked up in the clear blue sky and noticed the sun as I walked to a friend's house. Smiling, the sun noticed me back. Then, I asked a question about herself. "Why are you sitting in the sky, seemingly all alone?" She answered, "I have a very important job to do." Without her, the water cycle would not have heat energy to operate. She also mentioned that the Earth's gravity plays a part in making moisture fall back to earth. Therefore, she piqued my interest, I wanted to know more about what the water cycle was and how water moved through that system. Consequently, the water cycle is a continuous water system that cycle and through the earth from the atmosphere to hydrosphere cleaning and transporting water worldwide. In addition, the water travels through several phases before it becomes a purified, transportable, usable liquid. The end.
