Katie Woods is a 34.3 week pregnant patient who was admitted with vaginal bleeding r/t placenta previa. She has gestational diabetes that was previously diet-controlled, but due to some recent high fasting blood sugars the doctor has started NPH at bedtime. During your 0400 vital signs, you note that her pulse is elevated and she seems anxious. You notice her bedtime snack is unopened on the bedside tray.
