It was June 28, 2015 when my friend Zoey and I went to see our favorite singers at Country on the River in Prairie du chien, WI. Just hours before we were ready to go Zoey couldn't find her ticket! She finally found the ticket in her pillow case where she hid it from her annoying brothers. Then about five minutes later we were on our way thank goodness.
We made a few stops on the way, but they were minor problems like gas, and food. We were so excited to meet our idol’s, but first we had to wait thirty-two minutes in line before we could get our tickets scanned.
“I'm hungry,” I wailed as I watched the guys behind us eat their Big Macs. “Me too,” replied Zoey as her stomach let out a little rumble. “Well we should go get some food,” I said dreadfully while holding my stomach.   “Then we’ll lose our spots in line,” Zoey said sternly. Her eyes were squinting because the sun’s bright rays. Sweat was dripping down her nose, and the people beside them smelled like rotten cheese.
“Maybe I have some food in my purse,” I replied as I opened my purse and began to look. “Hopefully because I am starving,” Zoey said while her stomach growled as loud as a lion.   “I checked, but all I could find was a mint... and I ate it,” I told her as I showed her the wrapper. “Maybe once we get our tickets scanned we can go find some food,” I had hoped.“Okay, but you're paying since you ate the mint and did not share,” Zoey said, hoping she would pay because she didn’t have a lot of money. “No! I never agreed to that maybe you should carry around a purse,” I barked. “Fine I don’t want to get in a fight so we’ll just buy our own food,” Zoey said annoyed while throwing her hands in the air.“Okay! Geez calm down before you hit someone, but you know that would be pretty funny,” I said as I winked at the people behind us.“Haha sounds like something I would do,” Zoey said while laughing really loud.
We then both burst out laughing together while others just stared.“Finally!” Keegan yelled! “Were getting closer so we can get our tickets scanned!” “Thank goodness!” Zoey said as a rush of relief came upon her. “Three more minutes!” I yelled because I was so excited to get in!” Five people were in front of us as we anxiously waited.
“Hey, Keegan there are only two more people ahead of us. Wait no one more! Omg we are up next!” cried Zoey as she was screaming her head off with excitement.
Then I got in, but somehow Zoey’s brothers got jelly on the scanning of the ticket and it wouldn’t scan. They finally made the decision I offered minutes ago of typing in the bar code. So they did that and  we were on on your way.We got in just in time only eight minutes of the concert had gone by.
“Gosh I hate brothers because they made us late to the concert!” Zoey said while she bunched the sky as if it was her brother.
“I still can’t believe it’s over! I wish this day could last forever.” Zoey said to Keegan while a watery liquid came flowing out of her eyes, but she wiped them away and continued to walk back to the car with her best friend by her side. This day could not have gotten any better, she thought as she got in the car with Keegan.
