The new beginning

"Everyone makes their own destiny, but when one man crosses another's, it causes great grief and contention, so it's in every man's best wishes not start the next big war".

This quote has been passed down from generation to generation for many centuries, yet not many people have actually used these wise words to mold their own destiny.

This has lead to countless amounts of deaths and devastation through war and has formed from the consequences of Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride in mankind.

Because of this, the world had gone into a constant state of war for centuries. This has lead to the destruction of almost all of the natural resources, livable land and almost all of the worlds communities.

Now that the world has become a crumbling rock that has littered Earths outer atmosphere with clusters of stone and rubble, there is a great need for further exploration and far off settlements to other planets.

So a job has been allocated to the ones that used to be called astronomers, but the meaning of that word only briefly covers what they do now. What they do now is to explore the galaxies in their ships for livable planets, more reliable resources, new technology and of course, alien civilizations.

That is why these astronomers are now called Star Voyagers and these Star Voyagers are mankind's last hope...

This is when your true journey starts, a 27 year old Star Voyager in training, you have been learning the ways of the Star Voyager for the last 12 years and this is not only your first mission, but the very first and last mission for all of us.

And so it starts, the journey for a new beggining. Will it end well? Or is the world doomed forever. Well, that's up to you to decide...
