Escape... (monster party c;)

death or otherwise

While stirring to the sound of thunder, you seem to remember a phrase. It was a dark and stormy night...
However, it was not a dark and stormy night. In fact, it was beautiful outside. Had there been any windows around you, surely you would agree. 70 degrees, beautiful california weather.
On that note, the thunder you'd previously heard had actually been the growl of a loud bear. That bear who'd been once human was forced to shift so his genetics might be altered once again by an evil doctor- but here i am, getting ahead of myself.
You thought it was the thunder which woke you, and no window could tell you otherwise since you were in a square room with none in it. In said room, the walls were white. You were sat on a hospital bed, soon to realize you had no memories in that brain of yours.
You sat up to examine the room. There was a poster on the wall with some strange person on it, his stomach cut open and his entrails, guts, lungs and otherwise, were all hanging out by strings. The image, while very vivid and gory, may actually be quite helpful to a doctor; all the things hanging out of him were labeled.
Next to that poster was a similar one which was female. Below said posters was a cart with various medical instruments on it. Some that cut, and others that dont.
Directly across from the medical instruments was a phone. It wasnt an apple. It was one of those with a coil phone cord, nailed to a wall, colored a pastel pink. There was a mirror, but it was too cracked to make out your reflection in it... perhaps if you were closer, you could make out some key characteristics of yourself.
After examining the room thoroughly, you see a door. It wasnt so noticeable at first, but it was very much there. White, same color as the walls, with a white knob. The only thing which caught your eye and let you know it wasnt just part of the wall was the small shadow of an indent where the door pushed ever so slightly into the wall... And a small window, showing another wall just past the door. People- doctors, nurses, and other all passed by the door without taking notice to you.
Seeing that you had some time to yourself, you decided to get up and examine some of the things a bit closer.
After checking to make sure no medical tubing or anything was attached to you, you got up. A feeling of weakness rushed over you, but standing tall for a few moments caused it to recede. You continued on...
what now?
I check out the cart of medical instruments.
I checked out the phone.
I tried to see my reflection in the mirror.
I tried the door.
